Grace S. Somerville, 90, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at her home in Savannah.
Mrs. Somerville was born in Americus, GA on March 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Francis F. and Ethel Hines Sieg. She moved to Savannah as a child with her family and was educated in the Savannah public school system. After graduating Mrs. Somerville began working for Maryland Casualty Insurance Co. While working in the insurance business she relocated to Atlanta and ultimately retired to Florida. Later, she resided in Savannah for a number of years. Grace was an active member of Thunderbolt Baptist Church.
Mrs. Somerville was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Somerville. She is survived by her niece, Nancy Brown and husband Woodford Brown, Jr.; nephew, Francis Phillip Sieg and wife Darnell of Douglas, GA; niece, Barbara Sanders Richey of Savannah and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.

Enjoyed spending Chrismas with 'Aunt Grace' over the years. Recently with both of us in Thunderbolt, it's been nice to be together more often. She'll remain in our hearts.
